Magnesium, Hydration & Midlife Well-Being
Aqvita at the Queenager Event in Lausanne
At the recent Queenager event in Lausanne, one theme came back again and again during conversations with participants:
Women in midlife are increasingly rethinking their relationship with health, energy, hydration, and daily routines.
Perimenopause and menopause are not only about hormones. They are also a period where many women become more attentive to sleep quality, stress management, nutrition, movement, and overall well-being.
As a sponsor of the Queenager community, Aqvita was proud to participate in these discussions and introduce a different perspective on mineral intake and hydration.
Why magnesium is receiving so much attention
Magnesium* has become an increasingly discussed mineral in women’s wellness conversations, particularly during midlife.
According to approved EU health claims, magnesium contributes to:
normal psychological function
reduction of tiredness and fatigue
normal functioning of the nervous system
electrolyte balance
normal muscle function
These functions resonate strongly with many women seeking practical ways to support everyday balance and resilience.
At the same time, modern lifestyles can make consistent mineral intake more difficult. Busy schedules, stress, processed foods, and inconsistent hydration habits all play a role.
Beyond pills: integrating minerals into hydration
One of the interesting discussions during the Queenager event was not only which nutrients matter, but how they fit into daily life.
Many consumers are familiar with magnesium tablets or electrolyte powders, yet long-term consistency often remains a challenge. Taste, convenience, and routine all influence whether habits are maintained over time.
At Aqvita, we believe hydration itself can become part of the solution.
Our approach is inspired by natural mineral waters, where minerals are naturally dissolved in water rather than consumed separately as pills.
The Aqvita approach
Aqvita develops magnesium bicarbonate formulations designed to enrich drinking water with minerals in a way inspired by nature.
Instead of focusing on occasional supplementation, our vision is to integrate minerals directly into everyday hydration habits.
Water is already part of daily life.
Mineralized water simply builds on that habit.
This approach aligns particularly well with consumers looking for:
simple wellness routines,
consistent hydration,
alternatives to traditional supplements,
and more natural daily habits.
A conversation that is only beginning
The Lausanne Queenager event showed how much interest exists around women’s wellness, hydration, and nutrition during midlife.
For Aqvita, participating in these discussions is important because we believe the future of wellness is not only about adding more products — but about rethinking everyday habits in a simpler and more sustainable way.
We are grateful to the Queenager community for the invitation and the inspiring conversations throughout the event.
